21 Duel Blackjack

Software: Playtech

Are you also a fanatic of the game blackjack? If so, then this will definitely interest you. There is a new version of the game blackjack in town and it is definitely becoming more popular by the day. It is called 21 Duel Blackjack and it has been continuously earning the interest of more people.

21 Duel Blackjack was released by Playtech, which has developed a lot of gaming software and has been a provider for various online blackjack systems as well as other online casino games. 21 Duel Blackjack is based on the rules of a traditional blackjack. Similar to how the traditional blackjack is being played, in 21 Duel Blackjack you also need to have a total that is higher than that of the dealer, without going over 21. The twist in this game is that this is going to be played with community cards.

To begin playing the game, you have to place an ante. After this, click the deal button. You will be dealt with two cards with one that is facing up and another one that is facing down. The dealer will have two cards, both of which are facing down. Another pair of community cards will be placed in the middle of the table, facing up.

After these cards have been dealt, you will then have to make a decision if you will fold, which will make you lose your ante wager or you could opt to continue with the hand. You have to take note though that if you choose to continue with the hand, you will need to place and additional wager and then you could proceed on selecting one of the communal cards in the middle of the table. This will be used along with your card that is facing up.

Then, you have to total the cards you have at hand. Just like how it goes in the traditional Blackjack game, you goal is to get a sum of 21 or be as close to that number as you can. The important thing is to not go over this number as it will make you lose your wager. Once you have added up the cards you have, you have to decide if you will hit or stand. If you choose to hit, you will then open you other card which is facing down. This may either improve your total or make you go over 21. On the other hand, if you feel that you already have a good pair of cards or if you already have a total of 21, then you may choose to stand.

When it comes to counting the total of the cards in 21 Duel Blackjack, the values are similar to the traditional blackjack. The number cards use the indicated numbers as its value, the cards with pictures are worth 10 points, while the ace is either worth 1 point or 11 points.

Another thing that gives 21 Duel Blackjack a twist compared to the traditional blackjack is the fact that it allows you to make side betting. You can click on the area that is labeled 2UP and then place your side bet. This will be for the initial three cards which will be shown on the table: your card that’s facing up and the two other communal cards at the center. If there is a pair among the cards, you will win 3:1. Even better, if all three cards completed the Three-Of-A-Kind, then you will win 20:1.
