Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Being a student really is stressful (and of course, fun). You have to always attend to your commitments which are school works, org responsibilities, friends and family among any others. You have to learn how to manage your time wisely or else be ready to be swallowed by loads and loads of your requirements. One day and you’ll be shocked that unknowingly, you already learned how to drink coffee, stay up all night and wake up early just to get the glorious ranking of passing. And how you pray and wish for the coming of Saturday or Sunday, for sleep really is a gift from God that seems to be unavailable on weekdays.
But 48 hours of rest seems so fast; and you feel that irritating feeling of waking up early again on Monday. How you wish for another weekend. How you pray for another holiday. How you desire for a schoolwork-free day. How you hope for a day off. And that’s why Cryptologic is here – to grant your hopes, desires, wishes and prayers for a day off. What’s more is that you get to have it with Ferris Bueller. Yes, you read it right. It’s no longer Ferris Bueller’s Day Off but Your Day Off with Ferris Bueller (at least in this game for Paramount won’t change it, right?)
Cryptologic released the game Ferris Bueller’s Day Off on 2009, which is based on the movie directed and written by John Hughes about a high school student wanting to have a day off regardless of what the principal may think. It is a 5-reel, 25-payline video slot game. The graphics all relate to the movie – Cameron Frye, Sloane Peterson, Jeanie Bueller, Ed Rooney, Grace, “Save Ferris” Badge Symbol, Car, Dog, Playing Cards, etc. Almost all of the prominent characters are there except for Ferris Bueller himself. The maximum money one can bet per spin is $125, with the con size ranging from $0.01 to $5 per pay line.
It is a progressive jackpot game, and you can win one of the five jackpots randomly - the Smash, Epic, Classic, Acclaimed and Blockbuster. These Hollywood jackpots are not activated during Free Spins. Two hilarious features make the game even more rewarding – the Kick the Car game and the Fake the Parents game. The Kick the Car feature is triggered when the car figure appears on reel 2 and Cameron Frye appears on reel 4. Cameron kicks his dad’s car until it gets totally destroyed. The harder the kick is, the larger the winnings.
The wild symbol is the Fueller Bueller’s logo, which is able to replace any symbol except the scatter symbol. The scatter symbol is the “Save Ferris” button. Getting three or more of this symbol leads to the Fake the Parents game. You need to press the keys on the keyboard to accumulate a number of Free Spins. The top jackpot of 5,000 coins can be won by getting 5 Ed Rooney (the Principal) figures on the reels. But the total winnings can be raised, of course, during the bonus rounds.
