Genting, The Malaysian gambling group has announced that they have chosen Galliford for their new casino and leisure complex worth £120 million, in Birmingham. This resort will have a casino, a spa, movie outlet, four star hotel, retail outlets and conference facilities.This whole project will cover almost 600,000 square feet and will be known as Resorts World at the NEC.
Construction Work will start from first half of 2012 and this project will be completed by 2014. Greg Fitzgerald, Chief Executive of this group commented, "We are very happy that we have been selected by Genting UK for building this major leisure and entertainment establishment."
This casino project will offer 1,100 job opportunities and will contribute more than £25 million per annum to the Solihull economy. This new casino resort will be one of the most adventurous gambling projects in the UK having sports betting, poker facilities, bingo halls and separate VIP gaming areas.
