There were thirteen Mini Poker Series events in the run-up to the final competition with players getting their seats by placing in the Semi Final Tournament or by remaining in the top 10 of the tournament’s leader-board.
John ‘Getn_Outa_MI’ Ormsby came out on top and took home the $12,000 package into next year’s WSOP. He was one of 82 finalists for the final.
From the US state of Michigan, Ormsby unveiled that he only has four years of experience in playing online poker, mainly participating in limit hold’em cash games on Bodog.com or other sites.
