Poland blames online casino for its corruption

Polish political leadership is faced with a mountain of scandals; as a result Prime Minister Donald Tusk is battling the crisis by forbidding online casinos. Because gambling pressures have contributed to the wholesale buying and selling of the Polish government, Tusk's measure is to make gambling outside casinos unlawful, and bring up taxes on the rest of the gambling business.

No less than 4 well-known members of the government have left the house or been excluded for working to maintain gaming taxes at their present level. Rather than look into further into government sleaze, Tusk has decided to criticize gambling for the malfunctions of his party, as said by political observers.

"He eliminated those related to the scandal, but there wasn't a complete crackdown of his whole party," explained Grzegorz Makowski of the Institute of Public Affairs about Tusk. "He covered the problem of corruption with the problem of gambling."

Throughout 3-quarters of Poles say that Poland's government is full of malversation. An independent examination of governmental clearness saw Poland almost at the bottom of 31 European countries.

Tusk's campaign in opposition to online casinos and gambling reminds residents of other officials and their boasted causes which allegedly would end the malversation, only to find the activities a smokescreen behind which unprincipled behavior kept on.
