Frank and his lawmakers are going to start discussions on turning over the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act on Thursday, December 3rd. The debate may not trigger any main changes instantly, but they are going to start a process.
The regulations for the UIGEA are ready to be issued on December 1st, and that is just before the hearing on Frank's 2 pieces of legislation for online gambling are to be debated. There is a strong belief that the execution of these regulations is going to be postponed until after the New Year.
That would give Frank and his online gambling allies the chance to issue regulations that would control the Internet gambling business. As for the online casino industry, they have been expecting the improved part of a year for the latest administration in the US to work on the issue of online gambling.
