The 15th version of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) went on this week and witnessed Lance ‘kingpin023’ Harris taking home more than $331,000 on Monday evening following the success in the competition’s 12th event.
A no-limit hold’em event hosted by pro player Gavin Smith with a buy-in of $1,060, the 12th FTOPS event brought 1,541 players to produce a prize pool a little bigger than the $1.5 million guaranteed by the planners.
The field was full of professionals from the live and online worlds such as a trio from organizer FullTiltPoker.com. In spite of battling their way to the last 5 tables, Joao Barbosa ended up in 41st spot whilst Daniele Mazzia walked away with $3,698 and David Pham positioned in 32nd place to take home $4,314.
