Lottomatica boosts Italian sportsbetting

According to Agipro News agency, an Italian gambling group Lottomatica SpA boosted sports bets considerably in February comparing to January 2009, undergoing a 17 % boost in bets that received totals for the month to Euro 58 million, and giving the firm a 15.2 % market share.
The company took bets of Euro 49.5 million in January, with a 14.4 % market share, according to the expert gambling division news agency.
In a collapse of Italian government information, Agipro stated that sports betting market chief Snai took care of Euro 137.7 million in bets in February, showing a 36.2 % market share, in opposition to Euro 125.1 million accomplished in January for a 36.4 % share.
