US action in opposition to online gambling

The Obama Administration’s new US Trade Representative at the World Trade Organization, Ron Kirk is going to be stressed this week as the European Commission issues its report after an examination into the prejudiced practices of US law enforcement in accusing European companies and individuals for suspected online gambling offenses.
The examination, conducted following of grievances to the EC by mostly British online gambling companies under the Remote Gambling Association, has been continuing for some months and follows US unilateral actions that have seen the country drop reliability after losing a number of WTO arguments with Antigua and Barbuda. It seems that amongst the factors studied in the US ban was the unfairness and prejudiced character of US legislation, and actions taken in opposition to European companies but not US counterparts.
